Mike, along with Karen (AKA Salsaroja) is the co-founder of The Latin Experience (www.thelatinexperience.com) Liverpool.

Together they set out to make Salsa more accessible to a wider audience in Liverpool and the northwest. Their mission statement being The Latin Experience is committed to creating new and exciting opportunities to have fun dancing with friends in Liverpool.

Mikes interest in Salsa/Latin music started shortly after he began dancing Salsa, back in 1998/99. Since that time he has developed a strong interest in Puerto Rican, Mambo and New York Salsa music, although this is not to the exclusion of other genres of good quality Salsa such as Cuban and Colombian. That said Mike is able to read a dance floor and play accordingly.

Over the last five/six years, Mike being both a dancer and DJ has gained a reputation for giving dancers of all abilities and styles the music they want to hear and dance to.

Mike has DJd extensively in Liverpool (resident DJ at all The Latin Experience Salsa parties), Manchester, Leeds and the east midlands, notably Nottingham and Derby. In April 2005 Mike DJd at the 2nd Club Cubana, Pontins event held at Blackpool and has recently been invited back to DJ at the Club Cubana Pontins event being held at Brean Sands, in December 2006.
